Iowa vs Georgia Tech Lines BCS Bowl Wagering
The Orange Bowl wagering gets the spotlight on Tuesday night as 10th ranked Iowa faces 9th ranked Georgia Tech in a game that can be seen on Fox television at 8:05pm ET. The Yellow Jackets were the popular choice originally in this game but Iowa is now getting some attention because their starting quarterback Ricky Stanzi is returning from injury. Georgia Tech is a 5-point sports wagering lines favorite with a total of 50.5 at SBG Global.
Georgia Tech usually plays exciting, high scoring games while Iowa plays close, low-scoring games. It will be interesting to see which type of game develops on Tuesday night. This will be the 13th straight year that Georgia Tech has gone to a bowl game. They are 22-15 all-time in bowl games and 3-2 in the Orange Bowl but they have lost their last four bowl games overall, including 38-3 last year to LSU. Iowa is in their 24th bowl game all-time and they are 12-10-1. They are 0-1 in their only previous college football wagering Orange Bowl appearance.
Iowa won this season with defense and timely plays. Some might even call it a lot of luck. The key for Iowa on offense was the play of Ricky Stanzi. Sometimes he was great and other times he was terrible. But when the Hawkeyes needed a late rally he was always there until getting hurt late in the season. "It’s like being at the amusement park on the wildest roller coaster," Iowa offensive coordinator Ken O’Keefe said. The defense for Iowa was there all college football wagering lines season as they held teams to 15.5 points per game.
Georgia Tech moves the ball on the ground as they were second in the nation in rushing averaging 307.2 yards per game. Jonathan Dwyer had 1,346 yards and 14 TDs while quarterback Josh Nesbitt had 991 yards rushing and 18 TDs. Georgia Tech can also throw when needed as wide receiver Demaryius Thomas had 46 receptions, for 1,154 yards and eight TDs.

SMU vs Nevada College Bowl Wagering Lines
Nevada may be a double-digit favorite in the college football wagering Hawaii Bowl on Thursday night at 8pm ET but SMU is likely to have the home crowd edge. The Mustangs are coached by former Hawaii coach June Jones and he is likely to get a lot of support from the Hawaii fans. This will be the first bowl game for SMU in 25 years. Nevada is a 12.5 point wagering lines favorite with a total of 72.5 at SBG Global. Watch all sports wagering action live tonight on ESPN!
In Jones’ first season the Mustangs went 1-11 but he turned things around this season and ended the losing at SMU. The Mustangs were very streaking this season as they won two straight, lost four of five and then won four of five to finish 7-5. Now SMU gets to play in the Hawaii Bowl, a game in which Jones is very familiar. "I am so happy that our players will be able to have this experience," said Jones, "Reaching our first bowl game in 25 years is special – not only for our current student-athletes, but also for the guys who came before them."
There is no question a lot of points are going to be scored on Thursday. SMU is led by running back Shawnbrey McNeal and freshman quarterback Kyle Padron who threw for 1,462 yards and eight touchdowns in six games. They also have Emmanuel Sanders who had 91 catches and 1,215 yards.
Nevada made NCAA history this season with three 1,000 yard rushers. They have the best rushing attack in the country and they were second in total offense at 521.6 yards per game. "What we’ve done on offense this year, it is special," coach Chris Ault said. "It all starts with the guys up front. And the biggest part of it is (Colin Kaepernick) he is the trigger man on the whole deal." Kaepernick ran for a career-high 1,160 yards and 16 TDs this college football wagering lines season.
Neither one of these defense is any good so points should be easy to come by. Nevada can’t stop the pass and SMU can’t stop the run. The Mustangs are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as an underdog. The Mustangs are 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 non-conference games.

Meanwhile, Rutgers has been atrocious when favored by 4-points or less, going 2-7 ATS in their last nine in that situation. Central Florida is 8-4 ATS in their last 12 when an underdog of 4-points or less.
