Portland is in good shape to make the NBA wagering playoffs as they are in 8th place in the Western Conference but they can’t afford to look ahead as Memphis is still within striking range. The Blazers will try and help their cause on Thursday as they face a poor Golden State team. The problem for Portland is that they have lost their last nine trips to Oakland. The Trail Blazers are listed as 5 –point wagering lines favorite with a total of 212.5 at SBG Global. Watch all the sports wagering action live at 10:35pm ET on TNT.
Portland is coming off an 88-81 win over Sacramento on Tuesday even though they didn’t play well. "We’re taking these wins, but we know we have to get better if we’re going to make a push," said Portland’s Brandon Roy. Portland has won five of their last seven road games and they should win at Golden State and end that nine-game losing streak. Golden State is simply awful. They allowed 118 points per NBA wagering lines game on their recent road trip where they went 0-5. "We played our hearts out. We came up short again," coach Don Nelson said. "I have to be pleased with the way that we’re playing. We just can’t seem to scratch a win out."
One key to the outcome of this game could be the status of Golden State’s leading scorer Monta Ellis. He has missed the last six games and is questionable on Thursday. He had 34 points, eight assists and a career high-tying six steals in Golden State’s win over Portland in November.
Portland is trying not to overlook the Warriors on Thursday. "Golden State is a tricky team," Marcus Camby said, "They play small ball, they shoot the ball particularly well, so we definitely have to move our feet come Thursday night." The Trail Blazers are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games. The Trail Blazers are 0-4 ATS in the last 4 meetings at Golden State. The Warriors are 15-7 ATS in their last 22 vs. the NBA wagering Western Conference. The home team is 6-0 ATS in the last 6 meetings between the two teams.
The Over is 4-0 in the Trail Blazers last 4 road games. The Over is 15-7 in the Trail Blazers last 22 vs. the Western Conference. The Under is 4-1 in the Warriors last 5 home games. The Under is 9-2-1 in the last 12 meetings in Golden State.

The San Antonio Spurs will have to learn to win without guard Tony Parker as he is likely to miss the rest of the regular NBA wagering season with a broken hand. They might have an easier time on Monday at Cleveland if LeBron James does not play for the Cavaliers. James sat out on Saturday in Milwaukee and the Cavaliers lost 92-85. Head coach Mike Brown said that LeBron was held out for rest but James did roll his ankle against Detroit on Friday. The Cavaliers got 30 points out of Antawn Jamison and 27 points from Delonte West but they didn’t have enough to win without LeBron against the Bucks on Saturday. The Cavaliers are listed as a 7 –point NBA wagering lines favorite at SBG Global with a total of 195. Watch all the sports wagering action live on NBA-TV at 7:05pm ET.
It is possible that LeBron will be held out again on Monday since the Cavaliers have three days off after this NBA wagering lines game. "He has played a lot of minutes for us, and I felt it would be good for him and for the team to hold him out," Brown said about holding out LeBron on Saturday. "This is my decision based on the minutes I think he has played and his body and all that other stuff.”
San Antonio got the win over Memphis on Saturday but they lost Parker in the process. He broke his fourth metacarpal and is not expected to play again until the NBA wagering playoffs. "I knew it was a scrum," San Antonio’s Tim Duncan said. "He said he reached for the ball, and hit the ball or hit a body or a hand or something. "Parker is the second leading scorer on the Spurs at 16.6 points per game and his absence will be huge. "He’s got a broken hand. He’ll be out six weeks," San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich said, "He did it in the first half when he dove on the floor."
The Spurs have not played well against the Eastern Conference. The Spurs are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games against the East. San Antonio has also not done well at Cleveland of late as the Spurs are 2-6 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Cleveland. The Cavaliers are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 vs. the Southwest. The Cavaliers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games.
The Over is 4-1 in the Spurs last 5 road games. The Under is 8-3-1 in the Spurs last 12 vs. Eastern Conference. The Over is 8-3-1 in the Cavaliers last 12 home games. The Under is 3-1-1 in the last 5 meetings in Cleveland.

The San Antonio Spurs have had a few days off since defeating the New Orleans Hornets earlier this week. The Spurs won’t get much time off the rest of the NBA wagering season and they are just barely ahead of Portland in 7th place in the Western Conference standings. The schedule down the stretch is not going to be easy with games against the Lakers, Boston, Orlando, Atlanta and two against Cleveland. "We know how tough it’s going to get," guard Manu Ginobili said. "We really need to improve. If we don’t improve and take a step forward, we can probably not make (the playoffs)." The Spurs are listed as an 8 point wagering lines favorite at SBG Global with a total of 197.5. All the NBA wagering action goes down tonight at 9:35pm ET on ESPN.
The Spurs routed New Orleans 106-92 on Monday. The Spurs have scored at least 104 points in their last three games and they will need to keep the offense going as they play 15 games in the next three and a half weeks. "It’s going to decide our season," Tony Parker said. "We have a lot of big games and a lot of back-to-backs. We have a good opportunity. We’ve played pretty well the last two games, so hopefully we can keep it going."
San Antonio has owned New Orleans at home, winning 10 of the last 11 meetings. New Orleans really needs a win on Friday since they are five games out of the last NBA wagering playoff spot. They are not playing well though, having lost five of their last six. Without Chris Paul the Hornets are simply not a playoff contender. "As a team, I don’t think we have a good rhythm. We’re not playing fluid basketball," forward David West said, "Basketball is a rhythm game and everybody has to be on the same page as far as feeling good and confident about what we are going out there to do." The Hornets could fall below .500 if they lose on Friday.
The Hornets are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 road games. The Hornets are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Hornets are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 Friday games. The Hornets are 1-6 ATS in the last 7 meetings in San Antonio. The Spurs are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Spurs are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Friday games.
The Over is 8-1 in the Hornets last 9 road games. The Over is 4-1 in the Hornets last 5 overall. The Over is 5-1 in the Spurs last 6 overall. The Over is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings in San Antonio between the two teams.
