The Cardinals have won six straight against Providence overall with the last loss occurring in 1977. The Cardinals beat Providence 80-72 on the road last season. The Friars beat Rutgers 78-68 on Saturday night as Weyinmi Efejuku had a season-high 25 points. Providence is right on the bubble of making the NCAA Tournament and a win on Wednesday would be huge. Efejuku leads the Friars with 13.7 points per game. Efejuku has not had much success recently against Louisville though, scoring only 12 points in the last two games against the Cardinals. Providence could have a difficult time again on Wednesday considering the Cardinals seem to be focused on winning the rest of their remaining games.
